If You Move to Columbus....

There are many wonderful weekend trips to enjoy! We just took a quick trip to Niagara Falls for an Uncle's birthday celebration and realized that it makes a wonderful long weekend trip! Only 6 1/2 hours to the Canadian Falls side. We also spent a few hours in New York exploring the Wind of the Caves and experienced the hurricane force of the falls. Being within a few hours of one of the most beautiful sites in the country is a blessing and it is fun to share stories about it with everyone who has gone!

If you want a great reason to move to Central Ohio, then this is a great one!

Take care and stay cool! Susan

The Market in General is....

Good, not great, not bad but "good". If you have been holding out, thinking the market will change, it hasn't for quite some time. We are seeing a shift as we navigate through this tough time. We are still helping people with short sales, but they fewer and fewer as we go along. There are some gorgeous homes on the market at very fair prices. With the rates as low as they are, I would advocate either doing a refinance or buy the home that you have been thinking about while the rates are at record lows.

Our phones are ringing, our eleads are still up over last year, and people are inquiring about our listings.

We are pleased that we have been able to help so many people in this market!

Thank you so much for your support, caring and trust. We couldn't do it without the team, past clients, colleagues and friends. Thank you everyone!

Foreclosures Versus Short Sales Quick Synopsis

I just heard about an unfortunate situation once again about another family going through a foreclosure. There is another option that might work out much better for your family, the bank & the economy as a whole. It takes a lot of money to go through the foreclosure process for the bank. Attorneys, non-payment of piti to the bank, evictions, clean up and the list goes on. Unfortunately, this has become a familiar scenario in many of the Columbus markets.

Short sales have become a part of our business plan for sellers in this situation. We help you negotiate with the bank and it becomes a win win for everyone. We have had success with negotiating with the banks and there seems to be a more organized process on their end. At the beginning, there were few rules and the waiting was horrible. Now, the time frames are improved and they are moving much more smoothly.

Give us a ring if you have and questions! Don't wait until it is too late.

Take care, Susan
